SALVAGE AMD SCRAP MATERIAL MANUAL POE THE UTILITIES ANGLES, STEEL See STEEL, STRUCTURAL ALUMINUM, SCRAP, CASTINGS, SHEET, PLATE AND SHAPES See Appendix ttBH ALUMINUM, WIRE ACSR Bare aluminum wire with steel core may be sheared into short lengths and then run through magnetic separator which will remove steel* The aluminum may be graded as pure aluminum wire* Pieces long enough to be recovered may be spliced hy rolled aluminum sleeve Joint, ANCHOR, GUY Clean, weld and straighten broken parts, straighten rods, rechase threads, paint and retouch rusty spots on galvanized parts with rust preventive paint or regalvanize completely.
