And yesterday, T met -yovr man, and, as instructed, we ymt one metelfSdn at mv house. one at Fr, Heaton's, one at the store of VI. C, Thomas, and one at. the saloon of Beale & Her den. Mr. Luridhofe was away, and I called on his chief clerk, lie advised mo that the only pipe man they had, was very busy on engine work at the roundhouse; and, as I could net procure him, I secured the services of our plumber hero in town, who helped install these meters, And I believe this was the. best thing to do, as he is thoroughly acquainted with all -water taps arid piping in the different houses and places where they were installed. Kindly keep me advised when you wish these meter's read. They were all started 'yesterday, October 19th# Yours truly,
