I agree.\ Repairing of meter 573596. Las Vegas, Nev., April 27, 1912 •O • . ?’ P S: . - s . > / I Mr. H. I. Bettis, Vice Pres., lias "Vegas Land, ft Water Co., / Los Angeles, Cal. Lear Sir:;/ Mmk 1 Leg to acknowledge receipt of your letter under date of April 19th, file No* 230, in reference to repair of meter for Dan Hickey. You ask if it is not possible that at some ti e this meter was in the service of the Consolidated Power ft Telephone Company. In reply would say; consulting my records I can find no way that this meter could have been used by the Consolidated Power ft telephone Company. The original meters installed to the Power Company was Nash meter No. 678928 and Neptune meter No. 572239. The meter, which was taken from Mr. Hickey, No. 573596, has t en installed, and since December 8, 1909 and up to the time of removing this meter to send in for repairs, it has been working very satisfactory, with the exception of the month of July, 1910, at which time we took the same out and cleaned it, and since that date and up to February 1912, we have had no trouble with the meter. I have talked with Mr. Hickey concerning this meter, and he advises that there is no way in the world where hot water could have come in contact with the same, and 1 am at a loss to know how the disk-train became injured by hot water. • WRB-AH. Yours truly, Agent.
