I agree.Z 3>© Meters In Use at Las Vegas, Los Angeles, Gal •, 68 MAY 8 1912 lleptune Meter Co., 411^ East Third St,, Los Ahgel.es, Cal. Gentlemen: Referring to your invoice of April 4th for repairs to Meter Ho. 573596, amount $3.15, which bears the following notation: "Hot water passed through this meter and warped disk and train*" I have made a thorough investigation of this case and fin. the above numbered raster was set Dec. 8, 1909 at a hotel in Las Vegas, remaining in this service until Feb. 1912, one cleaning in July 1910 being the only attention necessary. Our Agent at Las Vegas made an investigation of this service and after a conversation with the proprietor writes in part as follows: "I have talked with Mr. Hickey concerning this meter and he advises that there is no way v in the world where hot water could have come in contact with the same and I am at a loss to. know how the disk and train became injured by hot water*" In view of these facts, we are of the opinion that this meter was faulty and should he put in order without expense to this Company* Yours truly, CAB * A* @ e ^cXu l;3o
