Dear Sir: Referring to your letter under date of May 14th, in reference to damaged meter of Dan Hickey: I heg to advise you that I have presented a hill to Mr. Hie key to the amount of $3.15 and have tried to explain to him that it was his fault that this meter was damaged, hut he refuses to pay the hill, saying that as he has a blow off cock between meter and his range in the hotel, it would he absolutely impossible for meter to become damaged from.hot water of the range in the hotel.
