Cost o f meters t Las Vegas, Kev., May 4, 1915. Mr. C.C. Barry, Auditor, Los Angeles, Cal. Lear Sir: Acknowledging your letter under date of April 30th file 273, in reference to water meters. I note you say meters cost us #45.05. In this connection, I herewith attach copy, from my files, of B.C. #64-31, showing that these meters cost #17,15 and #26.30, making a total cost of #43.45. Under our franchise we are allowed to charge consumer only cost for meter, #9.10 being the cost fixed for 5/8 meter and I therefore charged Horded #27.30 for the three meters which he got/and charged Pike #17.15 which was cost of his meter. This^/instead of leaving / a balence due of 60^ makes arnopnt over-9/^ected #1.60. Please advise if I am correct. Yours truly,
