Las Vegas Land & Water Company, Las Vegas, Nevada. Attention - Mr. Walter 1. Bracken, ______________Vice President and Agent. Gentlemen: Although you indicate that at the present time you are not interested in water meters, we are more than happy that you returned our business reply card, giving us this information, and we are taking the liberty of enclosing copy of our general catalogue, fully descriptive and illustrative of the cold water meters of our manufacture. As you indicate your water supply is unlimited, but there will always be a question in the minds of your consumers as to whether or not Jim Jones is not paying some share of Mr. Sam Blackts water bill due to the fact that Mr. Jones is more conservative in the use of water. Water is the most precious natural resource which man has, and we believe that you willagree with us that although the supply is inexhaustible it has a known and fixed value and from the standpoint of fairness to all consumers should be purchased on a metered basis in the same manner as gasoline or any other liquid commodity. We are enclosing with our catalogue several of our little pamphlets "Why have water meters" which point out many salient features with reference to the installation of meters, in addition to the one named in this letter, and in the event you would like to receive an additional supply of these pamphlets they are yours for the asking. Again thanking you for the return of our business reply card, and assuring you of our anxiety to cooperate with you at all times within the limits of our capacity, we are JEJ.C
