P| / k COPY. STATE OF NEVADA OFFICE OF STATE ENGINEER CARSON CITY, NEVADA October 9, I9V7. Mr. Calvin M. Cory, General Attorney 11^ North Third Street Las Vegas, Nevada. Dear Mr. Cory: This will acknowledge receipt of your letter of October 2, 19^7, add four Proofs of Beneficial Use, under Permits Numbers 10867, 10868, IO869 and IO87O. These proofs have been checked, and found to be in order for filing, however, before this can be done you will be required to submit the statutory filing fee of one dollar for each proof. The map submitted by Van 0. Eastland, and filed October 5, 19^-2, in support of the above numbered application, will serve to support the proofs of Beneficial Use, and no other map will be required. As soon as the proofs are officially filed, certificates will be prepared, which will require another one dollar fee for each certificate for recordation in the Clark County Recorder’s office. In order to complete this - transaction at this time, you might include the recordation fees with the fees required for filing the proofs. The map referred to in your letter supports Application Number 112k9, the Proof of Beneficial Use of which is not due until January 27, 1950* However, if you have put the Water from this well to beneficial use you could file the required proof, at this time, which would afford us the opportunity to issue five, certificates instead of four. Very truly yours, ALFRED MERRITT SMITH State Engineer JAM/sh By HUGH A. SHAMBERGER Assistant State Engineer
