Bracken: Referring to onr acquisition of 750 feet of 4 inch, redwood pipe, from the Parkview Mutual Water Company at Las Vegas, Nevada, under Work Order 152: During the month of August 1930, an amount of $550,00 was added to our investment in "Water System" representing the appraised value of this pipe line. Please furnish me with your opinion as to the probable life of the pipe and the percentage you consider should be charged off annually to meet the actual depreciation of the pipe lines.
