Las Vegas - February 11, 195^ w 1-3 Mr, Vm. Reinhardt - Los Angeles oo: Mr. R. L. Adamson Attached please find oopy of City of Las Vegas Ordinance Mo. 582, which was adopted by the Las Vegas Board of City Commissioners on December 16, 1953 and which provides for the annexation of certain parcels of land adjoining the present corporate limits of the City of Las Vegas. Would appreciate if Mr, Mama on would revise hie maps to show the new city limits as provided for in the new ordinance and furnish me at least one map showing the revised oity limits. 2 have Information that a new hotel will be constructed on the Southwesterly side of Boulder Highway a short distance South of where it Joins the intersection of Charleston Boulevard and Fremont Street and that the owner is planning to secure his water supply from the mains of the Water Company located within the present city limits. Ho application has yet been made for connection to our water mains, but I am anticipating that it will be made very shortly now, and I am therefore anxious to know the location of the new oity limits in order to determine whether the new hotel will be constructed In county territory or within the city limits as provided for in the attached ordinance and whether it will be permissible for us to serve them with water from the Water Company mains.
