I agree.s REAPERAISEMEHT OF LOTS' CLARK'S LAS-VEGAS TOWKSITE. 1 Las Vegas, ley. Apr. 8th 1911 Mr. H. I. Bettis, Vice Pres. & Audr. L. V. L. & W. Co. Los Angeles, Cal. Lear Sir: I "beg to acknowledge receipt of your letter under date of April 6th in reference to reappraisement of lots. Lot 5 in Block 19 is appraised at #1000. Because it is on this side of a store room recently erected on Lot 6, and which in the opinion of conservative Business men in Las Vegas will Be just as far East on Fremont Street as Business will likely go. Lots 7 and 8 therefore in my opinion will not Bring as much money as Lot 5.. Business is spreading down First and Second Streets and not going East on Fremont. This is why I appraised lot 5 at #1000. and lots 7 and -8 at #800 each. I most certainly want to make a trip to Los Angeles a& soon as possible and go over the entire reappraised list with you, But you will notice from our water accounts the great amount of work I have had to do lately, and it has Been impossible for me to get away. However, I will Be in just as soon as I can find a day to leave. Yours truly,
