We suggested their relocation hack: of the roundhouse yard, underneath the trees where the Japanese employees, were housed years ago. However, on looking the site over in company with Mr.' Marksheffel we found so much debris on the ground, that a site north thereof, and closer to the Las Vegas Greek was considered more desirable, fhis is Railroad land. ?V ' y I To clarify the misunderstanding created by last paragraph of my letter August 18th, concerning relocation of these cabins on ground occupied by subdividers? This proposal was made to take care of emergency that may arise from the City of Las Vegas opening First street within a year after the property is sold. In such event, as you will note from Hr. Gahlan*s letter, the cabins would be relocated on either side of First Street in their present vicinity. However, after the expiration of a year the proposed purchasers assumed that a new location could be found for these cabins on Railroad ground. J cannot advise you ae to the terns of the lease or the cost, nor ©an Mr. Cahlan, bat the occupants of the cabins are still living on this ground pending consummation of the sale.
