Las Vegas - October 23, 1944 W 1-1-2 R 2-12 Mr. Ch&rl e s Mam a: Miditor directs our attention to expiration January 1, 1945 lease audit #10042 to Southern Nevada Power Company covering permission to install electric power line across property on North Main Street at Las Vegas. I am unable to find the lease referred to in my files but > note map dated April 9, 1942 showing land to be conveyed to Clark, Cahlan, and Grant indicates this easement parallels North Wain Street across the land we sold to the above mentioned parties. While reservation was made in the deed to take care of this power line along with our own water line, I assume we would have no right to collect rental for land of which we have relinquished hold. Will you kindly consult your file and furnish me what information you can on this power line crossing.
