ftaelr Option fpT Mfwstreet / Las VEgas, Hev., May 17, 1913. Mr. H. C, Butt, Los Angeles, Cal, Dear Sir: I beg to herewith enclose you a letter received this date from Bhol which is self-explanatory. I have not seen Buol personally for about a month as he has been confined to his home with the measles and have not had a chance to talk this matter over personally with him but, I believe that if you so advise, it would be well to give them a ninty day option on the ground lying between Fifth street of Clark’s Las Vegas Townsite and Buck addition at the price fixed by yourself and Mr* Mcnamee. When in the city on last Wednesday, I left with Mr. McUamee a report of the Fire Committee to the Chanber of Commerce and Mr. McUamee can explain wherein it would be very much to our disadvantage to give Buol or the South HevadaLand and Development Company any assurance of change in our present water franchise. Will you kindly advise me of the reply to make to enclosed letter, returning same for my files. Y----- — * •
