Bear Sir I return your letter of the seventeenth with one from Mr. Buol asking for a ninety day option on the land that we were going to jjsell him/jadjoining the townsite at Las Vegas, I have discussed this matter with Mr. McNamee and he thinks that we are not warranted in giving him a ninety day option'for reasons which he can explain to you when he sees you. I also talked with him and Mr. Halsted about selling water to Mr, Buol, or getting any permits or amendments to our ffanchise, and we are all inclined to the opinion that we had better not extend the sale of our water beyond the limits of our present franchise.
