Las Vegas, Nevada, January 29, 1922, Hr. C. J8. Cline, Milford, Utah, .Dear Sir: I am in receipt of your letter under date of January 23rd to Mr. T. M. Sloan, making Inquiry concerning holdings of the Las Vegas Land & Water Company at Las Vegas, Nevada. We have not, at the present time, any lands for sale suitable for subdivision purposes, as we have just disposed of the last piece we had adjoining Clark's Las Vegas Townsite a few months ago. All land west of the Railroad track is not for sale, as we are required to hold same to protect certain water rights under our Nevada laws. If there is anything particular in your mind I would be pleased to have you write me concerning the same and I will try to give you any detailed information that I can.
