Dear Sir: I am attaching copies of our bills #16557 and 15996,^ cover ins- rental of packing house at Riverside for 6 months ended June 30^ 1919, together with invoices amounting to #435.40 which were enclosed with your letter of June 17, 1919, aadressed to Mr. T. M. Sloan. Your check 4310 has been applied in part payment of lease for above period. No authority has been given by this Company for these ex ;enditures and there is no provision in any of our leases for allowing the procedure of lessees assuming expense of equipment, and repairs and offsetting the same with rental bills. Under the provisions of our lease, it is incumbent that we insist on payment of our bills as rendered, and I would appreciate receiving your remittance of #433.40 covering balance due for- 6 months ended June 30, 1919.
