I agree.% 1 Mr.J.Ross Olark* S/lO/lS. ornament the ground in front of the building, I fail to see why either the Southern Pacific or ourselves could reasonably object. with packing houses in all the citrus fruit districts very naturally are desirous that we should agree with them to decline to build any additional houses, but as I view it, the proposition comes with rather ill grace from them in view of their action in the past, and I do not see how they can reasonably take exception to our pursuing a policy that simply puts us on a parity with them, particularly in view of their refusal, as stated by Mr. Wann, to install track connections at these competitive points and perform switching service for us to the packing houses on their tracks. existence on the Southern Pacific rails, I can readily see they they might properly be disinclined to build any more, but the fact remains that they were very active in trying to induce the Sutherland Packing Company to locate on their tracks at Riverside, and it seems to me they are entirely unwarranted in criticising us for securing to our tracks a facility that they were very anxious to secure on theirs.
