I agree.% & j&dLt lllakellitximxxh Ctmt|wtt» ' UMillixtm-^. (Eimrk 'ftvzsx&zut New York, January 6th, 1915 Mr. J. Ross Clark, Butte, Montana. / w Rear Brother,- Sometime ago when I saw Mr. Lovett he spoke to me about the protest of Mr. Sproule concerning our building a packing house for the Sutherland Fruit Company at Riverside. I told him then that I knew nothing about the matter and I presume it had been authorised by the Special Committee. I thought he was aware that we would be obliged to build some more packing houses in the interests of the road wherever it was demanded by the business or thought advisable. My attention was called to this matter again by Mr. Lovett’s Secretary, and I have asked for a copjy of Mr. Sproule’s letter, which I enclose herein and also hand you a carbon copy of my reply to Mr. Lovett. I wish you would give me full particulars about this, and oblige Yours sincerel (Enc. 3)
