I agree.Las Vegas, Nevada, Jan.6, 1911* X had a very pleasant call from Mr. Lewis yesterday, and he advised me that you expected to pass through here on Sunday. If it would he possible, I would like to have you stay oyer night with us, or even between trains. There are so many things in reference to Las Vegas Land & Water Compary business that I would like to take up with you when you are here to investigate. One in particular is in reference to construction of the iiew company houses. Mr. Davison and I were down looking over the houses, yesterday, and he seems to think, and I would advise, after my conversation with all of the machinists who have arrived, that it would be a good thing to build four and six room houses, as there seems to be so many machinists who are unmarried, but are acquainted with fried machinists and are looking for rooms. Of course, this will increase the cost of construction; but I believe in that case we could increase the rental. However, as above stated, there are so many little things that I would like to take up with you in person, that I would be very glad, indeed, if you can arrange to stop over a few hours with us. Yours very truly,
