Dear fir: Returning herewith the correspondence and bids covering the oiling of streets around the Corpany houses'at Las lagas, also preparing and sowing lawss in front of these houses. Mr. Bancroft in his letter to re June 5th approves this work. drench's bid for plowing up and seeding the lawns at *7.50 per lot seems to be the lowest, and "hick's bid for rolling and oiling streets for t31'0 seems to be the best bid for that work, and I roconrend that these two bids be accepted. I note Fr. Bracken says that Fr. fox will submit bid for preparing and sowing the lawns, and if his bid should be lower than drench’s, and he is thoroughly reliable, I think we should give him the work. 7ery truly yours, enc CC- Fr.
