I agree.LAS VEGAS LAND AND WATER COMPANY. Las Vegas, February 20, 1919. Mr. J. Ross Clark, President, Los Angeles, Cal* Dear Sir,- As advised by you, X have looked into the matter of painting the roofs of the 64 company houses , and herewith submit the following: The lowest bid I received for the painting of the roofs was $160.00 for the entire job, and the paint which I contemplated putting on was our common box-car red, which costs 90^ per g '.lion. Five-room houses contain 14^ squares to the house, and the four-room houses 13^ squares. It will, therefore, require about 770 gallons of paint, which will cost us #693.00. We sore also to furnish the brushes, which will cost possibly $20.00. I estimate that we can readily paint the company houses for a total expenditure of $1,000.00. Will you kindly advise me your wishes in this matter, Yours truly, Vice-Pres. and Agent.
