S A N P E D R O , L O S A N G E L E S A N D S A L T L A K E R A IL R O A D C O M P A N Y Dear Sir:- I have your letter November fifteenth, File No.1199, enclosing copy of your letter same date to Mr.Wells in reply to his joint communication of November twelfth, on the subject of rental of the new company houses at Las Vegas. I concur in your suggestion that we establish rent of $20.00 per month for the 4-room houses and $22.50 per month for the 5-room houses, the tenants to pay water rents. We can give this basis a trial and see how it works out. I don't believe we should figure on any profit in renting these houses; but we are entitled to a reasonable rate of interest on the money invested in them. \ I OFFICE OF FIRST VICE-PRESIDENT W. H.
