I agree.i tcppm^R lov. 30, 1908. 1157 Hr. W. H. Bancroft, First Vice President, Salt Lake City, Utah. Bear Sir: Referring to Mr. Y/ells' joint favor of Hov* 28th. I hand you herewith papers having reference to laying out some of the Company’s land at Otis, 60 acres, into town lots to he sold to employees and others desiring to build there. I understand there is quite a little activity in acreage in and around Otis for farming purposes, and I believe there is also a colonization scheme under way but I am not advised as to just what merit it has. I think it would be well to lay out a few lots there and sell them to our employees or any others who might desire the property for building thereon, so as to get a little town started on our own property. However, I do not believe we should plat anything like 450 lots; about 100 lots or so it would seem to me would be ample, and then later if the demand increased we could lay out more. Will you kindly let me have your views in the matter, please. ene
