Dear Sirs:- Referring to Mr, Clark's letter of November 26th, and Mr. Bancroft's of the 27th, in regard to proposed heating plant for the rooming house at Lynndyl, Mr. Van Housen wired me on the 27th that he had secured a bid of f1161.00 from Carthey & Dun- beck for the entire job, and asked authority to close with them for the work, stating that they were in position to proceed at once with the installation of the plant, in view of which I telegraphed him that he might contract with them accordingly.
