My dear Carl; I am in receipt of Mr. Bracken’s letter of the 18th ultimo, with carbon copy of your letter to Miss Hickey and her reply of the 27th ultimo, regarding lot 7, block 5, Las Fegas townsite, in which she offers $250*00 for the lot. Please inform’her that some months ago, the" executive"committee of the Las Fegas land and water Company reduced^ATprice on this lot from $500.00 to $300.00, and we cannot consider a less price at this time. If she desires the lot at this price and also can make a substantial payment on same and desires a reasonable time to pay the balance with interest at the rate of .06 per cent per annum on the deferred payments, we will be glad to take care of her on this basis. I am sending a cony of this letter to Mr. Bracken. Sincerely your
