Dear Sir: Referring to your letter of the 16th inst., regarding reappraisment of lots belonging to the Land and Water Co. Our records indicate that appraisements were made on March 20, 1908, April 1, 1911, June 30, 1914 and on those lots in Block 17 on Hovember 30, 1917. These appraisements were reflected in our accounts at the timethey were made. When sales are now made, we take care Of the gain or loss through an account styled Towns'it a, which was originally set up to take care of the anticipated profit on these sales, or through our Profit and Loss Account.
