Bear 3ir,- I beg to acknowledge receipt of your Valued favor of the S2d instant, in regard to the sale of lot 5 in Block 13, which is a single lot , lying between Von Tobel* s lumber yard and a Mexican rooming-house, I note the list price on same is $600.00, and that you are offered $300.00 cash for the lot by man who owns the rooming-house. In reply beg to say that I would not care to cut the price in two. If you can get $400.00 cash for it, this will be your authority to dispose of same. If so, you can prepare a deed and send it in, and I will execute same, and also have the Board of Directors ratify the sale at the first Directors' meeting# Very truly yours, ;
