Rote carefully what you say in regard to it, also the use of water, etc. I wrote Dr.Bracken some little time ago, if necessary to use all the water, he would have to make some new ditches and convey it to some of the virgin land. I expect to leave here with Mr.Hawgood Thursday evening of this week and go out as far as the end of the track "beyond Baggett, but willMbe unable to make the trip through. I will bring the oar back and it will leave here, probably next Sunday night and go direct to Salt Lake, arriving there, I should say, Wednesday morning of next week, and will send it from there to the end of the track below Oalientea. If you desire to go down with the car, would be very glad to have you do so. Mr.Hawgood will go across country, stop at Las Vegas, and I should think you would be able to meet him there; or, if he should reach Moapa sooner than the car would get down, it might be well for you to leave Salt Lake earlier and meet him at Las Vegas. Presume it will take you one day’s drive from Moapa to the Ranch. I should think Mr.Hawgood would reach Las Vegas about the 31st, or the 1st of June; that, of course, will depend somewhat on what he finds
