Bear Mr. Clark:- Do you expect to come to Salt Lake City between now and the 1st of May and, if so, can you not arrange to take a trip with me to the Las Vegas Ranch with a view to deciding upon a plan for permanently improving the property, laying out a townsite, etc.; which work ought to be going on while the construction of the road is in progress so that the matter will he in shape to he properly handled when the road is fin­ished and in operation. mentioned, can you not arrange hy going over that end of the line to meet me at Las Vegas sometime about the 1st of May for the purpose above stated. I believe you will agree with me as to the importance of some action being taken in the near future along the line indicated above. The trip at this time of the year can be made a very pleasant outing and would, without doubt, do you a great deal of good.
