I agree.A p r.4,1903 Mr .0 .0 .Uhittemor e, Salt lake, Utah. Dear Sir:- Yours of the 1st received, which ref err to McDermott‘s.' lot-* ter and my telegram shown you "by Bracken before his leaving for Dos Vegas, in regard to getting a men and his wife to go to the'ranch, the wife to cook and the man to work on the McDermott informs me.that Holt is now doing the cooking and he is also quite a handy fellow, and it might he well to continue him instead of getting a man and his wife. However, Bracken can decide the matter when fhc goes down after giving-Holt a trial. Also note what you say about some one riding the -range to : look after the cattle. This, I think,a very good thing to do. Inasmuch as McDermott is going to remain there until Bracken goes down, I.think they will be able to organise the matter so our interests wil be taken care of. As you suggest, I won1d like very much to make the trip overland, but I can't !say now when I can. get away as there are so many things here that'require attention all the .time. Very respectfully yours, 0
