    Washington, September 5, 1892. S M. MeCowan, Superintendent Indian School, Fort Mojave, Ariz. Sir:- In compliance with your request of inly 25th, 1892, the Honorable Secretary of the Interior has granted authority for you to expend a sum not exceeding $500.00 in the employment of Indian labor, at wages not to exceed $1.25 per day, to clear forty acres of bottom land, and sow it to wheat and alfalfa, during the next three months, also ihe cleaning and sinking the well deeper.
