I am enclosing three originals of Amendment to Escrow Instructions which have been executed by the Sellers, and which provide for the reduction in the Preliminary Purchase Price of $18,633.79* and other amendments required thereby. You will notice that the Amendment to the Escrow Instructions is to be effective only if the transfer ©f the Las Vegas water system is made and the Preliminary Purchase Price is paid on July 1, 195**. I am sending a copy of this letter and the enclosed Amendment to Escrow Instructions to the Las Vegas Valley Water District, and to its attorneys, with the request that the Dis­trict promptly execute the three originals of Amendment to Escrow Instructions which are handed you herewith as well as the original Escrow Instructions dated June 21, 195**. When the District has executed the Amendment to Escrow Instructions, will you transmit to the District and to me fully executed originals thereof, retaining one original for your guidance. Will you please immediately request the Pioneer Title Insurance and Trust Company to at once start preliminary search of title to the properties referred to in paragraph (a) of Section I of the Sale Agreement dated June 1, 1953* and to the -1-
