1 Section 2 . It is agreed that the property to be sold 2 and assigned by First Parties to the District shall not include 3 that certain Certificate of Appropriation bearing Application 4 No. 7200 and Certificate Record No. 1631, Book 6 , Page 1631, 5 issued to Los Angeles & Salt Lake Railroad Company, authorizing 6 the appropriation of 2.5 cubic feet of water per second for 7 railroad and domestic use from a water well known as Well No. 1, 8 which Certificate of Appropriation was recorded May 14, 1930, in 9 Book 1 of Water Appropriations, Page 76, in the Office of the 10 County Recorder of Clark County, Nevada. The District consents 11 to the reservation by Salt Lake Company, its successors and as- 12 signs, of the right to appropriate 2.5 cubic feet of water per 13 second for the purposes stated in said Certificate of Appropria- 14 tlon, provided said water is not appropriated, produced or di- 15 verted from said Well No. 1, but is appropriated, produced or 16 diverted from the existing water well of the Railroad Companies 17 located in the NW 1/4 of the SW 1/4 of the NW 1/4 of Section 34 in 18 Township 20 South, Range 6l East, M.D.B. & M., Clark County, 19 Nevada, or through additional wells to be drilled by said Rail- 20 road Companies, their successors and assigns, within the bound- 21 aries of their shop grounds as"'hereinafter described, it Is 22 agreed that Salt lake Company, its successors and assigns, shall 23 make application to the State Engineer of the State of Nevada 24 prior to the sale date for the purpose of changing the point of 25 diversion of the said 2.5 cubic feet of water per second referred 26 to in said Certificate of Appropriation of Water from said Well 27 28 15.
