Campbell, President Dear Mr. Campbell I have your letter of April 1st, directing my attention to certain statements contained in letter from James M. Montgomery, dated March 23, 195*1-» relative to temporarily increasing the water supply to the City of Las Vegas for the coming summer in view of the impossibility of the District developing new sources of supply in time for the coming season of high water demand. considerable money in endeavoring to increase the present water supply, cleaning out and improving the production of existing wells insofar as possible, and installing larger pumps on most of the wells.
