SERVICE CONNECTIONS( cont.) 4. Separate service connections to be required for each building, except where arrangement of two or more buildings under the same ownership is such that future separate ownership is unlikely, and a single bill to be rendered for each service. This is to provide for future metering and fix responsibility so that delinquent shut-offs are feasible. Meter reading and maintenace become extremely costly unless meters are kept at the curb line. With meters at the curb line, it becoles impossible to bill separate customers served from the same connection. With several customers on one service connection, it may also be difficult to make a delinquent shut-off, since customers whose bills are paid may be affected along with the delinquent. 5. No additional customers to be added to any existing service connection. To avoid any further complications when metering is undertaken. FREE WATER The Company rate schedule indicates that free water is now being furnished for churches, Las Vegas municipal buildings, fire fighting, street flushing, sewer flushing, and other municipal uses. Furnishing water for municipal purposes at other than regular rates is prohibited under Covenant 6 of the bond prospectus, except that water for fire protection may be furnished at cost. Free water for churches is not mentioned. No specific recommendation is made in regard to this subject, although it would no doubt be desirable to comply as closely as possible with the covenants. ?
