Campbell President, Las Vegas Valley Water District 135 South Fourth Street Las Vegas, Nevada Dear Mr. Campbell: Today I received from Union Pacific the latest revision of the Agreements as agreed upon by Mr. Renwick and myself. I have caused final draft to be retyped and am e n ­closing herewith two copies of said agreement, one of said copies being prepared as an ozalid stencil (carbon on the front and back of the s h e e t ) . By copy of this letter I am sending one copy of said draft to Mr. Montgomery and one copy to Mr. McNamee. The dollar amount for the Relocation Fund referred to in Section 5 has been agreed upon by Mr. Montgomery and Union Pacific engineers. It is my understanding, subject to confirmation by Mr. Montgomery, that the gross amount (includ­ing 1 0 $ for supervision) is approximately $3 5 2 ,0 0 0 . I understand from Mr. Bennett of Union Pacific that in view of the expense involved the maps used as exhibits will not be lithographed but that Union Pacific will have their draftsman prepare enough copies for the final executed contract. Accordingly, it is not possible to give you at this time a large supply of maps. The copies of the maps already in your hands are substantially the same maps which will appear on the final contract. Union Pacific will provide Mr. Montgomery with final copies of the maps which are used as exhibits so that Mr. Montgomery may check all descriptive references in the agree­ment against the m a p s .
