    1 2 3 4 5 6 7 8 c 1C 13 is u i< u i< i" li 1! 21 2 2: 2 2 2 2 • ' H I H I B necessary materials and labor and to construct approximately 234 lineal feet of 3" and 1530 lineal feet of 6" cast iron water main in location described as follows: Commencing at a connection with existing 3° cast iron water main in St. Louis Street, at the intersection of Santa Paula Drive, thence easterly with an 3” cast iron water main in St. Louis Street approximately 234 feet to the intersection of Santa Rita Drive: Commencing at a connection with the 3” cast iron water main to be constructed as above provided at a point approximately 20 feet north of the northwest corner of Lot 24 of said Tract 3» thence with a 6** cast iron water main southerly through said Tract 3,iapproxima­tely.. 1365 feet to the southwest corner of Lot 45 of said Tract 3, thence easterly along the south line of said Lot 45 and across Santa Rita Drive, a distance of approximately 160 feet. The estimated cost of constructing said water mains is the sum of FIVE THOUSAND SIX HUNDRED FORTY-FOUR & 30/100 DOLLARS (f5644.3 0 ). 2. Said water main shall be constructed of 61* and 3" cast iron pipe and shall be in accordance with AWWA specifications. All joints shall be cement and all pipe shall be new B & S cast iron, equal to AWWA Glass 150. All fittings shall be new, all bell, cast iron equal to AWWA Glass 150, and all valve boxes shall be of cast iron of appropriate size for each valve. Unless otherwise provided by the approval of a duly authorized representa­tive of the Company, all pipes, valves and fittings shall be manu­factured by Pacific States Cast Iron Pipe Company or Mueller Company. All pipe lines shall be chlorinated in accordance with AWWA specifications, shall be subject to the approval and acceptance - 2 - A-9S-
