THIS AGREEMENT, made and entered into this 1st day o f tU *d* ppt.pmhpr / W M , 191+7, by and between LAS VEGAS LAND AND WATER JOMPANY, a corporation of the State of Nevada, hereinafter called "Company” , Party of the First Part, and THE COUNTY OF JLARK, a political subdivision of the State of Nevada, hereinafter called "County", Party of the Second Part, W I T N E S S E T H ; RECITALS WHEREAS, the Company Is engaged in the business of distributing water as a public utility, in the City of Las Vegas, 31ark County, Nevada; and WHEREAS, the County has Installed and owns a pipe line jonslsting of 8", 6" and 4-" pipe and 8" meter in the location Indicated by yellow line on the map attached hereto, marked Exhibit "A", dated May 19, 19^7 > and by this reference incorporated herein, and WHEREAS, the County desires to sell said pipe line to the Company at an agreed valuation of $12,254-. 50, to be paid by refund of revenues received from customers taking water from said pipe line, in accordance with the Company's Rule 9A on file with the Public Service Commission of the State of Nevada, approved January l6, 1940.
