Bob has been right on top in attendance for several years and has certainly been a "good" Rotarian. HARRY MILLER The "Hheel" reporters called at the Clark County hospital yesterday and found that Harry is getting along O.K. Vern and Tona are on a "Cook's" (oh, oh, that's a bad word); anyway, they are on a fast trip to London, Paris, Zurich, Rome, and maybe Madrid and Lisbon. * * * * * * * * * * * PALM DESERT We have received a letter from Bob Sturgeon, Secretary of the Palm Desert Rotary Club. He says we have a good publication but we have slight-ed Palm Desert by not including them as a nearby make-up. They are only 1-3/4 hours from Las Vegas (you guess-ed it.') by air. C. Boyer. * * * Program Chairman Ed Converse has in process of arrsjngements one cf the best programs of many years — an inter-city meeting - which the Phoenix Club is putting on the pro-gram here February 23rd. Phoenix Club President Gecrge F. Miller has accepted our President Len's invitation; Bonanza Air Lines is preparing a two planeload excur-sion for the Phoenicians; cars will be needed at the airport to bring the visitors to our meeting, and to take them around town. As for the program itself, it may be slightly controversial, in that water and power, or their lack, may be mentioned, we presume, as seen from the other side of the Colorado River. Because of this interest in the sale of falling water, several Boulder City Rotarians have indi-cated a desire to attend.
