    SECTION 2. All ordinances or parts of ordinances in conflict herewith are hereby repealed. SECTION 3. The City Clerk and Clerk of the Board of Commissioners of the City of Las Vegas shall cause this ordinance to be published once a week for two successive weeks immediately following its first reading and adoption in a daily newspaper published in the City of Las Vegas, Nevada. ANTHONY CINA, being first duly sworn, deposes and says: That he is Foreman of the LAS VEGAS MORNING SUN, a daily newspaper of general circulation, printed and published at Las Vegas, in the County of Clark, State of Nevada, and that the attached was continuously published in said newspaper for a period of two weeks from May 12, 1957 to May 19, 1957 inclusive, being the issues of said newspaper for the following dates, to-wit: May 12, 19, 1957. Greenspun NOTARY PUBLIC IN AND FOR CLARK COUNTY, NEVADA My Commission Expires Mar. 17, 1960 ORDINANCE NO. 741 AN ORDINANCE TO AMEND ORDINANCE 525 ENTITLED "AN ORDINANCE TO AMEND ORDINANCE 304 ENTITLED: "AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF LAS VEGAS CREATING AND ESTABLISHING FIRE ZONES"; BY ADDING CERTAIN DESCRIBED AREAS TO FIRE ZONES TWO AND TWO SPECIAL (2s); BY PROVIDING FIRE ZONES FOR RE-ZONED AREAS; AND OTHER MATTERS PROPERLY RELATED THERETO; REPEALING ALL ORDINANCES OR PARTS OF ORDINANCES IN CONFLICT THEREWITH"; BY PLACING AREAS WHICH ARE GRANTED USB PERMITS OR VARIANCES TO CONDUCT A PROFESSIONAL OR COMMERCIAL USE IN FIRE ZONE NUMBER TWO OR FIRE ZONE NUMBER TWO SPECIAL AS THE CASE MAY BE; REPEALING ALL ORDINANCES OR PARTS OF ORDINANCES IN CONFLICT THEREWITH; AND PROVIDING PENALTIES FOR THE VIOLATION OF THIS ORDINANCE THE BOARD OF COMMISSIONERS OF THE CITY OF LAS VEGAS DO ORDAIN AS FOLLOWS: SECTION 1. Section 3 of Ordinance 525 is hereby amended to read as follows: Any areas hereafter re-zoned by the Board of Commissioners of the City of Las Vegas to C-1, C-2 or C-S, shall immediately upon such re-zoning be considered in Fire Zone No. 2. Any areas hereafter granted a use permit or variance to conduct a professional or commercial use similar to the uses permitted in C-1, C-2 or C-S Zones shall immediately upon the granting of said use permit or variance be considered in Fire Zone No. 2. SECTION 2. Section 4 of Ordinance 525 is hereby amended to read as follows: Any areas hereafter re-zoned by the Board of Commissioners of the City of Las Vegas to M-1 or M-2 shall immediately upon such re-zoning be considered in Fire Zone No. 2 Special (2s). Any areas hereafter issued a use permit or a zone variance to conduct a business or commercial use similar to those permitted in an M-1 or M-2 Zone shall immediately upon the granting of such use permit or variance be considered in Fire Zone No. 2 Special (2s). SECTION 3. All ordinances or parts of ordinances in conflict herewith are hereby repealed. SECTION 4. Any person maintaining property in violation of the provisions of this ordinance shall be guilty of a misdemeanor and upon conviction thereof shall be punished by a fine of not more than Five Hundred ($500.00) Dollars and six (6) months in the City Jail, or any combination thereof. SECTION 5. The City Clerk and Clerk of the Board of Commissioners of the City of Las Vegas shall cause this ordinance to be published once a week for two successive weeks immediately following its first reading and adoption in the Las Vegas SUN, a daily newspaper published in the City of Las Vegas.
