RICHARD LOCHRIE, being first duly sworn, deposes and says: That he is Foreman of the LAS VEGAS MORNING DUN, a daily newspaper of general circulation, printed and published at Las Vegas, in the County of Clark, State of Nevada, and that the attached was continuously published in said newspaper for a period of two weeks from May 23, 1955 to May 30, 1955 inclusive, being the issues of said newspaper for the following dates, to-wit: May 23, 30, 1955. The Board of Commissioners of the City of Las Vegas do ordain as follows: SECTION 1. Pursuant to Petitions duly presented to the Board of Commissioners of the City of Las Vegas, signed by a majority of the freeholders in the area containing each of the hereinafter described parcels of real property requesting the Board of City Commissioners of the City of Las Vegas to annex to and make a part of the City of Las Vegas each of the hereinafter described parcels of real property, the exterior boundaries of the City of Las Vegas are hereby extended to annex to, and include therein, each of the following described parcels of real property, to-wit: PARCEL NO. 1 SE¼ of Section 6, Township 21 South, Range 61 East, M,D,B, & M, Clark County, Nevada. PARCEL NO. 2 That portion of the Southeast Quarter (SE¼) of Section 1, Township 21 South, Range 6l East, M.D.B. & M., described as follows: Commencing at the Northwest corner of the Southeast Quarter (SE¼) of said Section 1; thence South 0°28,25” East along the West line thereof a distance of 59.64 feet to a point; thence South 42°27' East a distance of 1573.11 feet to the most Southerly corner of that certain parcel of land conveyed by Murray Wollman et al to Orra F. Johnson and Wilma L. Buecker by deed recorded January 18, 1951 as Document No. 361250, Clark County, Nevada records, the true point of beginning; thence continuing South 42°27' East a distance of 700.00 feet to a point; thence North 47°33' East a distance of 300.00 feet to a point on the Southwesterly right of way line of U.S. Highway Nos. 93-95-466 (200 feet wide); thence North 42°27' West a distance of 700.00 feet to the most Easterly comer of the said conveyed parcel; thence South 47°33’ West a distance of 300.00 feet to the true point of beginning. TOGETHER with the tenements, property and inhabitants within each of said parcels of real property and each of said parcels of real property is hereby declared to be apart of the City of Las Vegas. SECTION 2. Each of said parcels of real property, together with the tenements and inhabitants thereof, shall be subject to all of the laws applicable to the City of Las Vegas. SECTION 3. The City Engineer of the City of Las Vegas is hereby instructed to prepare a plat of each of said territories described to Section 1 of this Ordinance and to file the same for record in the office of the County Recorder of Clark County, Nevada. SECTION 4. This ordinance shall be in full force and effect upon its final passage and publication as in the next section provided. SECTION 5. The City Clerk and Clerk of the Board of Commissioners of the City of Las Vegas shall cause this Ordinance to be published once a week for two successive weeks immediately following its its first reading and adoption in the Las Vegas Sun, a daily newspaper published in the City of Las Vegas. /s/ C.D.
