The Board of Commissioners of the City of Las Vegas do ordain as follows: SECTION 1. The Land Use Plan Map adopted by Section IV of Ordinance No. 378 also referred to as Section 10, Chapter 24, Code of the City of Las Vegas, 1949, is hereby amended to read as follows: (a) FROM R-3 to M-1: That portion of the Northwest one-quarter (NW¼) of the Northeast one-quarter (NE¼) of Section 27, Township 20 South, Range 6l East, MDB&M, described as follows: Beginning at the intersection of the East line of the Los Angeles and Salt Lake Railroad Company right of way with the North line of the said Northwest one-quarter (NW¼) of the Northeast one-quarter(NE¼); thence East along the North line of the said Northwest one-quarter (NW¼) of the Northeast one-quarter (NE¼), a distance of 364.02 feet to a point; thence South and parallel with the East line of the said Northwest one- quarter (NW¼) of the Northeast one-quarter (NE¼) a distance of 718 feet to a point; thence West and parallel with the North line of the said Northwest one-quarter (NW¼) of the Northeast one-quarter (NE¼) a distance of 364.02 feet to a point in the afore-mentioned East line of the railroad company right of way; thence North along the last mentioned East line a distance of 718 feet to the point of beginning. SAVING AND EXCEPTING THEREFROM the North 25 feet thereof previously deeded to the City of Las Vegas for road purposes. (b) FROM R-1 to R-4: That portion of Block 8, marked "Reserved for Parking" on Amended Map of Mayfair Tract No. 2, on file in Book 2 of Plats, page 47, Clark County Records. (c) FROM H-2 to C-2: A portion of Lot 3 Section 1, Township 21 South, Range 6l East, MDB&M and more particularly described as follows to-wit: Commencing at the Southwest comer of Lot 3 in said Section 1, the point of beginning; thence North 0°10'30" West, a distance of 481.53 feet to a point on the Southwesterly right of way boundary line of U.S. Highway. 95; thence South 42°27' East, along the Southwesterly highway right of way line of U.S. Highway 95, a distance of 649.81 feet, more or less to a point; thence South 89°37' West, a distance of 435.34 feet to the true point of beginning. (d) FROM R-2 to R-3: Lots 23,24,25 and 26, Block 6, of Boulder Dam HomeSite Tract No. 4, recorded in Book 1 of Plats, page 80, Clark County Records. (e) FROM R-2 to R-1: All of the Southeast one-quarter (SE¼) of the Southwest one-quarter (SW¼) of Section 2, Township 21 South, Range 6l East, MDB&M except the South 200 feet. (f) FROM C-1 and R-4 to M-1: A portion of the North one-half (N¼) of the Northeast one-quarter (NE¼) of Section 4, Township 21 South, Range 6l East, MDB&M, and being more particularly described as follows: All that land extending South from West Charleston Boulevard, a distance of approximately 500 feet, beginning at the West line of Western Avenue and extending westerly a distance of approximately 278 feet to the East line of the proposed Highland Avenue, extending South from Charleston Boulevard. (g) FROM R-3 to R-4: All of Block 3, of El Centro Addition Tract No. 2, on file in Book 3 of Plats, page 18, Clark County records. All or the Lawrence Love Tract on file in Book 3 of Plats, page;9, Clark County Records. SECTION 2. All ordinances or parts of ordinances in conflict herewith are hereby repealed. SECTION 3. This ordinance shall be in full force and effect upon its final reading and adoption, and final publication as in the next section provided. SECTION 4. The City Clerk and Clerk of the Board of Commissioners of the City of Las Vegas shall cause this ordinance to be published once a week for two successive weeks immediately following its first reading and adoption in the Las Vegas Review Journal, a daily newspaper published in the City of Las Vegas.
