    REVIEW JOURNAL, a daily newspaper of general circulation, printed and published at Las Vegas, in the County of Clark, State of Nevada, and that the attached was continuously published in said newspaper for a period of two insertions from July 20, 1953 to July 27, 1953 inclusive, being the issues of said newspaper for the following dates, to-wit: July 20, 27, 1953. Notary Public in and for Clark County, Nevada ORDINANCE NO. 563 AN ORDINANCE TO AMEND ORDINANCE NO. 529 ENTITLED: "AN ORDINANCE PROVIDING RULES AND REGULATIONS FOR NURSERIES AND CHILD CARE FACILITIES WITHIN THE CITY OF LAS VEGAS, NEVADA, AND REPEALING ALL ORDINANCES OR PARTS OF ORDINANCES IN CONFLICT THEREWITH", BY CHANGING THE DEFINITION OF COMMERCIAL NURSERY TO PROHIBIT ANY CHILD UNDER THE AGE OF ONE YEAR TO BE ADMITTED TO A DAY NURSERY OR COMMERCIAL NURSERY FOR NOT MORE THAN A FORTY EIGHT HOUR PERIOD; AND REPEALING ALL ORDINANCES IN CONFLICT HEREWITH. The Board of Commissioners of the City of Las Vegas, Nevada, do ordain as follows: SECTION 1. Ordinance No. 529 which provides regulations for nurseries and child care facilities within the City of Las Vegas, Nevada, is hereby amended to read as follows: Definitions - 2. COMMERCIAL NURSERY, is a home or institution which provides care for ten (10) or more children under the age of 16 during the whole or any part of the day and which provides care and an appropriate program according to the ages and needs of the children. Commercial nurseries accepting children under 2 years of age must provide separate facilities for their care. No child under the age of one year may be admitted to a day nursery or commercial nursery for not more than a forty-eight (48) hour period. SECTION 2. All ordinances or parts of ordinances in conflict herewith are hereby repealed. SECTION 3. This ordinance shall be in full force and effect upon its final reading and adoption, and final publication as in the next section provided. SECTION 4. The City Clerk and Clerk of the Board of Commissioners of the City of Las Vegas shall cause this ordinance to be published once a week for two successive weeks immediately following its first reading and adoption in the Las Vegas Review Journal, a daily newspaper published in the City of Las Vegas.
