COUNTY OF CLARK) Dick Lochrie, being first duly sworn, deposes and says: That he is foreman of the LAS VEGAS EVENING REVIEW-JOURNAL, a daily newspaper, of general circulation, printed and published at Las Vegas, in the County of Clark, State of Nevada, and that the attached was continuously published in said newspaper for a period of two weeks from Oct 4th, 1948 to Oct 11, 191)8 inclusive, being the issues of said newspaper for the following dates, to-wit: Oct 4 - 11 That said newspaper was regularly issued and circulated on each of the dates above named. /s/ Dick Lochrie______________ Subscribed and sworn to before me this 11th day of October, 1948 /s/ A. My Commission Expires Jan 12, 1951 ——oooOOOOOOOooo—— EMERGENCY ORDINANCE NO. 372 AN ORDINANCE TO REPEAL ORDINANCE NO. 270 OF THE CITY OF IAS VEGAS ENTITLED: "AN ORDINANCE CREATING A PLANNING COMMISSION FOR THE CITY OF LAS VEGAS, DEFINING THE POWERS AND DUTIES THEREOF AND MATTERS RELATING THERETO." The Board of Commissioners of the City of Las Vegas, do ordain as follows: Section 1. Ordinance No. 270 of the City of Las Vegas, entitled: "AN ORDINANCE CREATING A PLANNING COMMISSION FOR THE CITY OF LAS VEGAS DEFINING THE POWERS AND DUTIES THEREOF AND MATTERS RELATING THERETO," and each and every part and provision thereof is hereby repealed. Section 2. The City of Las Vegas having collaborated with the County of Clark, Nevada, and the City of North Las Vegas, Nevada, in the creation of a Regional Planning Commission, which is to function in the place and stead of the City Planning Commission heretofore created by Ordinance No. 270 of the City of Las Vegas, and the need for the future development of the City of Las Vegas being immediate and imperative, this ordinance is therefore declared to be and is hereby passed as an Emergency Ordinance and it shall take effect immediately after its passage and publication. Section 3. The City Clerk is hereby authorized and directed to have this ordinance published in the Las Vegas Evening Review Journal, a daily newspaper published in the City of Las Vegas, for a period of two weeks, that is to say: once each week. I hereby certify that, by the unanimous consent of the whole Board of Commissioners of the City of Las Vegas, the foregoing ordinance was read in full when first introduced at the regular meeting of said Board held on the 7th day of October, 1948, and was passed as an Emergency Ordinance upon said reading on said date, on the following vote: Voting "Aye": Commissioners Baskin, Clark, Moore, Whipple and His Honor Mayor Cragin Voting "No" : None Absent: None /s/ E.
