Cragin _____ AFFIDAVIT OF PUBLICATION STATE OF NEVADA) COUNTY OF CLARK) Dick Lochrie, being first duly sworn, deposes and says: That he is foreman of the Las Vegas Evening Review-Journal, a daily newspaper, of general circulation, printed and published at as Vegas, in the County of Clark, State of Nevada, and that the attached was continuously published in said newspaper for a period of 2 times from December 13, 1944 to December 20, 1944 inclusive, being the issues of said newspaper for the following dates, to-wit: December 13, and 20 , 1944 That said newspaper was regularly issued and circulated on each of the dates above named. /s/ Dick Lochrie Subscribed and sworn to before me this 20th day of December, 1944. /s/ A. That the cost and expense of making such improvements as described in Section 1 of this ordinance shall be paid by special assessment to be made according to frontage upon the taxable lots and premises situate in the public assessment district here­by created, composed of the following lands, to wit: Lots 32,31, 29, 38, 27, 26, 25, 24, 23, 22, 21, 20, 19, 18, 17, Block 34 of Wardie Addition to Las Vegas, Nevada, as shown in Book 1 of Plats at pate 13. Lot 11, Block 21 of Resubdivision of Block 13 and portions of Blocks 21 and 22, Wardie Addition to Las Vegas, as shown in Book 1 of Plats, Page 116. Lots 32, 31, 30, 29, 28, 27, 26, 25, 24, 23, 22, 21, 20, 19, 18, 17, Block 15 of Wardie Addition to Las Vegas, Nevada, as shown in Book 1 of Plats, at Page 13, Lots 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8, 9, 10, 11, 12, 13, 14, 15, 16, Block 20 of Wardie Addi­tion to Las Vegas, Nevada, as shown in Book 1 of Plats at Page 13. Lots 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8, 9, 10, Block 21 of Wardie Addition to Las Vegas, Nevada, as shown in Book 1 of Plats at Page 13. Lots 13, 14, 15, 16, 17, 19, 19, 20, 21. 22, 23, 24, 25, 26, 27, 28, 29, 30, 31, 32, Block 14 of Clark's Las Vegas Townsite as shown in Book 1, Page 37 of Plats. Lots 10, 11, 12, 13, 14, 15, 16, 17, 18, 19, 20, 21, 22 and 23, Block 31 of Clark's Las Vegas Townsite as shown in Book 1, Page 37 of Plats, except where by Charter of the City of Las Vegas certain portions thereof are required to be paid from the General fund of the City of Las Vegas. Section 3. That the ex-officio Assessor of the City of Las Vegas shall hereafter, by ordinance, be empowered and authorized and directed to prepare a special assessment roll which shall include the lots and premises and owners, as provided for in the City Charter of The City of Las Vegas. After said special assessment roll as herein provided for, shall have been prepared and submitted, it shall be reported to the Board of Commissioners of the City of Las Vegas and thereafter, it shall be filed in the office of the City Clerk and numbered, and notice thereof shall be given to all persons interested, of the time when said Board of City Commissioners and ex-officio City Assessor will meet to review the assess­ment, at which time the said Board of City Commissioners shall hear any and all suggestions and objections that may be filed against said assessment, and shall at that, or some ad­journed meeting, correct the same or confirm it as reported or corrected, or they may re­fer it back to the ex-officio City Assessor for revision, or annul it and direct as new agreement, and proceed as in the City Charter directed, until the same shall be confirmed by the Board of City Commissioners; when said assessment roll has been confirmed by the Board of City Commissioners, the City Clerk shall make an endorsement upon the said assessment roll showing the date of confirmation as provided in the Charter and shall thereupon deliver said roll, as confirmed by the Board of City Commissioners with his certificate of such
