    ORDINANCE NO. 190. An Ordinance to amend Section LXXXIII of Ordinance No. 170 of the City of Las Vegas. The Board of Commissioners of the City of Las Vegas do ordain as follows: Section 1. That Section LXXXIII of Ordinance No. 170 of the City of Las Vegas, entitled "An Ordinance of the City of Las Vegas, regulating travel and traffic upon the public street; establishing a central traffic district; and providing a penalty for the breach of any of the rules or regulations regarding traffic in this Ordinance provided, and repealing Ordinances Nos. 66-68-69-86- 90-94-120-124-125-127-141, and 143 of the City of Las Vegas, and all ordinances and parts of ordinances in conflict herewith," be and the same is hereby amended so that the same shall read as follows: Section LXXXIII. Obstructions of Street, etc. It shall be unlawful for person or persons, firm, company, or corporation to occupy any part or portion of any street, alley, sidewalk, sidewalk space, court, public park or grounds, within the City of Las Vegas, for the purpose of keeping or maintaining any newspaper stand, bootblack stand, drinking stand, popcorn stand, weighing machine, automatic vending machine, sandwich wagon or any stand for the sale of notions or other articles of goods wares or merchandise or any similar obstruction except that oil and gas vending tanks and equipment may be maintained on the curb line on main Street in said City. Section 2. This ordinance shall take effect and be in force from and after its passage and publication for one week (six issues) in Las Vegas Age, a daily newspaper published in the City of Las Vegas. Passed and adopted at a recessed regular meeting of the Board of City Commissioners of said City, held on the 21st day of July, 1932 upon the following vote: Commissioners German, Mundy, Thomas, Hansell His Honor the Mayor E. W. Cragin voting aye. Noes none. First reading June 23, 1932. Second and final reading July 21st, 1932. Approved this 21st day of July, 1932. E. W. Cragin Mayor. Squires, being first duly sworn deposes and says; That he is publisher of the Las Vegas Age, a daily newspaper of general circulation, printed and published at Las Vegas, in the County of Clark, State of Nevada, and that the attached Ordinance No. 190 was published in said newspaper for a period of six insertions from July 23rd 1932, to July 29th, 1932 inclusive, being the issues of said newspaper for the following dates, to-wit: July 23, 24, 26, 27, 28, 29, 1932. That said newspaper was regularly issued and circulated on each of the dates above named. That the legal charge for publishing the same was $50.40. Signed C. P. Squires.
