    Section 2. Be it further ordained that said bones and coupons with the necessary variations as to numbers and maturities shall be in substantially the following forms respectively, to-wit: United States of America State of Nevada County of Clark Las Vegas Sewerage Bonds 1931 Series. No.________ $1000.00 KNOW ALL MEN BY THESE PRESENTS that the City of Las Vegas a municipal corporation duly organized and existing under the laws of the State of Nevada, acknowledges itself to be indebted and for value received hereby promises to pay to bearer on the first day of July 1933 the principal sum of One Thousand Dollars, together with interest thereon from the date hereof until paid, at the rate of__________________per centum (_____%) per annum, payable semi-annually on the first day of July and the 2nd day of January of each year, which interest to the date of the maturity of the principal is evidenced by and payable upon presentation and surrender of the annexed interest coupons as they severally become due. Both principal and interest of this bond are payable in lawful money of the United States of America at the office of the City Treasurer, in the City of Las Vegas, Nevada. And for the prompt payment of the principal and interest on bond as they respectively become due, the full faith, credit and resources of the said City are hereby irrevocably pledged. This bond is one of a series of like date, tenor and amount but different maturities, issued for the purpose of constructing main sanitary out fall sewers and a sewage disposal plant in addition to and also as an extension of the present sanitary sewer system in said City, and pursuant to an election duly called and held at which more than a majority of the regular qualified electors voted in favor of the Issuance of said bonds, and proceedings of the Board of City Commissioners duly passed and adopted, and is authorized by and issued in full conformity with the requirements of the Constitution and Laws of the State of Nevada, including Chapter 132 of the Session Laws of the State of Nevada, including Chapter 132 of the Session Laws of said State for the year 1911, and all acts of the Legislature amendatory thereof and supplemental thereto. And it is further certified and recited that all acts, conditions and things required by the Constitution and Laws of the State of Nevada to exist, happen and to be performed precedent to and in the issuance of this Bond, have existed, happened and have been performed in the regular and due form, time and manner as required by law, and that the amount of this bond, together with all other indebtedness of said City, does not exceed any constitutional or statutory limitation. IN TESTIMONY WHEREOF, said Board of City Commissioners of said City have caused this bond to be signed by the Mayor of said City and countersigned by the City Clerk, and its corporate seal to be hereto affixed and the interest coupons hereto annexed to be authenticated with the lithographed facsimile signature of said Mayor and the City Clerk, and this bond be dated at first day of July, A.D., 1931. (Form of Coupon) No .______ $_________ On the 2nd day of January (First day of July) A.D. 19______, the City of Las Vegas, in the County of Clark and State of Nevada, will pay the bearer______________Dollars, lawful money of the United States of America at the office of the City Treasurer, in the City of Las Vegas, Nevada, being the semi-annual interest then due on its sewerage bond, dated, July 1. 1931. The officials now or hereafter charged by law with the duty of levying taxes for the payment of said bonds and interest shall in the manner provided by law, make ab annual levy of an additional tax upon the property, real and personal, within the limits of the City, sufficient to meet the annual payments or principal and semi­annual payments of interest on said bonds maturing as herein provided. The proceeds from the taxes levied shall be kept by the County Treasurer, ex-officio City Treasurer, in a special fund to be know as "Las Vegas Sewerage Fund," and the funds deposited therein shall be used only for the payment of interest on said bonds, as the same becomes due and payable, and in the payment of the principal of and retirement of said bonds as they respectively become due and payable under the terms of this Ordinance. Section 4. Be it further ordained that the Mayor and City Clerk are hereby authorized to execute said bonds for and on behalf of the City substantially in the manner and form aforesaid, and to deliver the same to the purchaser or purchasers thereof, upon payment of the purchase price thereof. The proceeds of the sale of said bonds shall be placed in a special fund and shall be used exclusively for the purposes above specified in such manner and to such extent as the Board of Commissioners may by ordinance, order or resolution from time to time direct. Section 5. The Ordinance shall take effect immediately after its adoption, approval and publication in Las Vegas Evening Review-Journal, a daily newspaper published in the City of Las Vegas for one week (6 issues). Section 6. The City Clerk and the Clerk of the Board of City Commissioners of the City of Las Vegas is hereby authorized and directed to have this Ordinance published in Las Vegas Evening Review-Journal, a daily newspaper published in the City of Las Vegas, for one week, (6 issues). Passed and adopted this 5th day of October, A.D. , 1931 by the following vote: Commissioners Mundy and German and his Honor the Mayor E. W. Cragin voting aye. Noes none. First reading Sept. 4, 1931. Second and final reading Oct. 5, 1931. Approved this 5 day of October, 1931. E. W.
