ORDINANCE NO. 812 An Ordinance entitled: AN ORDINANCE TO AMEND SUBSECTION 13A OF SECTION 3 OF Planning & Zoning ORDINANCE NO. 760, BY INCREASING THE NUMBER OF HOTEL ROOMS REQUIRED FOR SERVICE BAR, TAVERN OR COCKTAIL LOUNGE FROM 50 ROOMS TO 100 ROOMS; PROVIDING PENALTIES Ord. Amendment FOR THE VIOLATION OF THIS ORDINANCE; PROVIDING OTHER MATTERS PROPERLY RELATED THERETO; AND REPEALING ALL ORDINANCES OR PARTS OF ORDINANCES IN CONFLICT HEREWITH, Adopted was read by title and reported on favorably by Commissioners Sharp and Whipple, committee for recommendation. Commissioner Sharp moved the above-entitled Ordinance No. 812 be adopted. Motion seconded by Commissioner Whipple and carried by the following vote: Commissioners Elwell, Fountain, Sharp, Whipple and His Honor Mayor Gragson voting aye; noes, none. ORDINANCE NO. 813 An Ordinance entitled: AN ORDINANCE ANNEXING TO, AND MAKING A PART OF THE Annexation Ord. CITY OF LAS VEGAS, CERTAIN SPECIFICALLY DESCRIBED TERRITORY ADJOINING AND (A-1-59) CONTIGUOUS TO THE CORPORATE LIMITS OF THE CITY OF LAS VEGAS; DECLARING SAID TERRITORY AND INHABITANTS TO BE ANNEXED THERETO AND SUBJECT TO ALL LAWS AND Adopted ORDINANCES; ORDERING A PLAT SHOWING SAID TERRITORY TO BE RECORDED IN THE OFFICE OF THE COUNTY RECORDER OF THE COUNTY OF CLARK, STATE OF NEVADA; AND PROVIDING OTHER MATTERS PROPERLY RELATED THERETO, was read by title and reported on favorably by Commissioners Elwell and Fountain, committee for recommendation. PROPOSED ORDINANCE Additional time was requested for the proposed Liquor Control Ordinance which Liquor Control was introduced and read by title at the regular meeting of the Board of City Ordinance Commissioners held September 16, 1959, and referred to Commissioners Sharp and Whipple, committee for recommendation. Continued PROPOSED ORDINANCE An Ordinance entitled: AN ORDINANCE TO AMEND SECTION IV OF ORDINANCE NO. 378, Rezoning Z-21 and REFERRED TO AS SECTION 10, CHAPTER 24, CODE OF LAS VEGAS, NEVADA, 1949, BY Z-27-59 AMENDING THE LAND USE PLAN MAP ADOPTED BY THE CITY OF LAS VEGAS, AND CHANGING THE ZONING DESIGNATION OF CERTAIN AREAS OF THE SAID MAP, was read by title and Referred to Committee referred to Commissioners Elwell and Sharp, committee for recommendation. -0O0- There being no further business to come before the Board, at the hour of 10:15 P.M.
