BID OPENING NO. 59.26 There were no bids received for Bid No. 39.26 for the Remodelling of two rooms Remodel 2 Rooms, at the Municipal Pool Building (1958-59 Budget). Refer to later in these minutes Municipal Pool Bldg. when request to pursue this work by force account was approved. BID OPENING 59.27 This being the time heretofore set for the Bid Opening No. 59.27 for Automotive Automotive Tires Tires and Tubes (1959-60 Budget), bids were received as follows: and Tubes Ted Wiens Firestone $ 17,830.10 Referred to Public Works Superior Tire, Inc. 18,333.27 Commissioner Sharp moved that the above bids be referred to the City Manager and Director of Public Works for recommendation. Motion seconded by Commissioner Fountain and carried by the following vote: Commissioners Fountain, Sharp and His Honor Mayor Pro Tem Whipple voting aye; noes, none. Absent: Mayor C. D. Baker. BID OPENING 59.28 This being the time heretofore set for the Bid Opening No. 39.28 for Batteries Batteries (1959-60 Budget), bids were received as follows: Referred to Public Works Western Petroleum Distrs., Inc. Prices Itemized Ted Wiens Firestone Prices Itemized Commissioner Sharp moved that the above bids be referred to the City Manager and Director of Public Works for recommendation.
